Swargiya Dagoji Pise Science College, Neri is affiliated to Gondwana University, Gadchiroli, an 11 years old premier Science institution in Neri, Tahasil Chimur, and district – Chandrapur imparting quality education to the students in the faculties Science. It is run by Wandniy Rastrasant Tukadoji Shikshan Sanstha Neri, which comprises the team of social workers constituted to the mission of propagating education for the most needy, poor and backward section of the region.
Though Neri is not even a tehsil place, there are three High Schools and Three Junior Colleges excluding our only well-known Science College. The population of Neri is about twenty thousand approximately.
The courses run by the institute are junior college (10 + 2 Level) in Science
B.Sc. (Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Mathematics and Physics);
The institute also has skill oriented courses in Vermiculture, Mushroom culture and Soil Testing

Shri Dagoji Gangaiya Pise
Swargiya Shri Dagoji G Pise (09/04/1918 – 06/01/2009) was visionary with a keen interest in education, facing many problems established Lok Kalyan Shikshan Mandal Neri in 1968 and run an institution Janata Vidyalaya Neri where in from First Standard to twelfth Standard education was given to poor and needy students of the vicinity. He was acted as Sabhapati of Chimur Panchayat Samiti from 1972- 77. He was social reformer and actively participated in Chimur Kranti. Later on Science faculty was introduced in 2012 with a prime objective named as Swargiy Dagoji Pise Science College, Neri.
